How do I create an account with Avelon?

There are two types of account available on the Avelon Network / Avelon and it all depends on whether you're an affiliate or a brand / retailer. We'll run you through both processes below:

Signing up as an affiliate means you're looking to partner with brands / retailers and start promoting their products / services through our trackable links. It couldn't be easier to sign up.

Step 1: Head to the Avelon homepage

Step 2: Click the Join button in the top right of the screen

Step 3: Enter your details and click submit

You'll receive a confirmation email. Open this email and confirm your account by clicking the link.

Step 4: Set your password

Enter your desired password and press save

Step 5: Login to your account

Step 6: Enter your info as requested on your profile

Your profile is where you add an 'about you' that brands will see when they approve / deny you onto their programs. We recommend you add some details about yourself, what type of sport you do, what type of videos etc. We've included an example below:

"I'm Joe Blogs and I'm a semi-professional cyclist. I post 5 x per week and I currently work with a number of brands, but have worked with Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta on awareness campaigns in the past 6-months. I achieve a 5% engagement rate on social media."

This is also where you add your social media handles, Youtube handle and a website (if you have one).

Signing up as a brand / retailer means you have an eCommerce store and you're looking to promote your products through an affiliate. There are a few more steps involved in getting setup, but we've streamlined the process to make it as simple as possible. We've outlined these steps below:

1. Contact us to get your application started. You can either email us at [email protected] or fill out a contact us form on the site. 

2. Once you're setup and we have all the necessary details, we'll assess how to integrate with your eCommerce platform. We've developed plugins for services such as Shopify, Woocommerce, Citrus Lime and ObjectiveOne etc which means it takes 2-minutes to get setup, but for other services, it may require development work. We provide full documentation for developers. 

3. Upload your commission table and default commission structure. Avelon is the first affiliate network to develop this feature, meaning you can set different commissions for every single SKU on your database. For example, sale items vs full RRP items - allowing you to change the commission for items which have a % off, meaning you'll never pay more in commission than you originally intended.
