How To Create A 0% Tracking Link

For brands that want to track the ROI of ambassadors/affiliates that have external agreements outside of Avelon, we have created the 0% commission tracking link. Some examples of situations where a 0% tracking link should be used are below:
- An ambassador has an agreement outside of Avelon and has a unique commission / product payment situation
- An ambassador is attending an in-person event and wants to track the sales they promote through their link (download the links QR code to take advantage of this feature)
- A brand wants to gain insight on the ROI of an ambassador over a long period of time
- A brand is placing print ads and wants to see how many people engage with their ad by scanning a QR code
How to create a 0% commission tracking link (affiliate)
Step 1: Go to the opportunities page and select Generate Link on the brand you want to create the link for
Step 2: Enter your URL in the Enter a path box
Step 3: Name your link. This name is only for internal use and won't be shown to anyone else
Step 4: Click Yes on the option where it states "Company name" affiliate partner?. This will revert your commission earnings back to 0% on this link.
Step 5: Copy your link
How to create a 0% commission tracking link (brand)
Step 1: Go to the Create a link tab on the homepage
Step 2: Enter your URL in the Enter a path box
Step 3: Name your link. This name is only for internal use and won't be shown to anyone else
Optional: Enter the Source, Medium and Campaign of your link.
Step 4: Press Generate and copy your link
